Call of Duty Season 01 Reloaded — What’s New(January 8 update)
Season 01 Reloaded arrives on January 8, bringing a major mid-season content drop across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame. The update adds new maps, modes, weapons, and a large Fallout-themed crossover that touches almost every part of the game.
New Maps and Multiplayer Content
Multiplayer gets three new and returning 6v6 maps — Yakei, Meltdown (remastered), and Fringe — alongside Vault Town, a Fallout-inspired Nuketown variant. New modes include S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem, which adds radiation mechanics and power-ups, The Ghouls (a Fallout-style Infected mode), and Takeover, a rotating objective-based competitive mode.
Fallout Collaboration Takes Center Stage
The Fallout crossover introduces themed LTMs, special buffs, Vault-themed visuals, and exclusive rewards. Fallout Operator skins provide gameplay advantages in certain modes, and the Deathclaw Hunt Limited Time World Event transforms parts of Endgame into a radioactive wasteland filled with high-risk, high-reward encounters.
Fallout-themed modes, skins, and events are the core focus of Season 01 Reloaded.
Weapons, Loadouts, and Returning Gear
Two new weapons are available as event rewards: the Sturmwolf 45 SMG and the Hawker HX sniper rifle. Several classic Black Ops items return, including Shock Charges, Impact Grenades, Tactical Insertion, and powerful Scorestreaks like the Death Machine, Grim Reaper, and Dreadnought.
Zombies Gets New Maps and Modes
Zombies players get the new Survival map Zarya Cosmodrome, Directed Mode for Astra Malorum, and the Fallout-themed Project RADS LTM featuring radiation management, Bottle Caps, and Deathclaws. The update also includes a massive list of bug fixes, balance tweaks, and quality-of-life improvements across all Zombies content.
Stability, Fixes, and Anti-Cheat
Season 01 Reloaded delivers widespread bug fixes, UI improvements, weapon tuning prep, and stability updates. RICOCHET Anti-Cheat also adds a new Secure Attestation Wizard to help PC players verify system security settings.
Overall, Season 01 Reloaded is a content-heavy update, with the Fallout crossover clearly standing out as the main attraction while still delivering solid additions for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame fans.
