Studio WHITE FOX returns to animate the season, with much of the original cast and staff confirmed to be back on board. A new character, Shaula, voiced by Fairouz Ai, was revealed in the teaser materials.
The new season is said to adapt the next major arc from Tappei Nagatsuki’s light novel, sending Subaru into unfamiliar region “Augria Sand Dunes” and the “Pleiades Watchtower”.
