Call of Duty: Warzone Season 01 Reloaded Patch Notes — What Changed
Warzone Season 01 Reloaded is live as of January 8, 2026, and it’s one of the most content-heavy mid-season updates so far. From Fallout-themed modes and free weapons to major balance changes and new win-streak rewards, this update reshapes how Verdansk plays going into the rest of the season.
Fallout Events and Free Rewards
The Fallout crossover dominates Season 01 Reloaded. Players can earn new weapons completely free through in-game events.
•Fallout Event Pass (Free Track): Unlock the new Sturmwolf 45 SMG
•Quantum Exchange Event: Earn the Hawker HX Sniper Rifle by collecting Bottle Caps across modes
•Global Leaderboard Event: Cosmetic rewards including weapon camos, calling cards, charms, and blueprints
These events reward active play and don’t require spending COD Points to access the core weapons.
Both new weapons this season can be earned for free through limited-time events.
New Limited-Time Modes
Two new LTMs arrive with very different playstyles.
•Power Armor Royale: A Fallout-inspired mode featuring Power Armor, Radiation Zones, Fusion Cores, Raiders, and special abilities like mini-nukes
•High Octane Battle Royale: Fast-paced action with instant loadouts, grappling hooks, auto redeploys, and rapid gas circles
Power Armor Royale supports up to 66 players and blends Resurgence rules early before transitioning into classic BR.
Win Streak Rewards Added
Season 01 Reloaded introduces Win Streaks for high-skill players.
Win streaks are tracked separately for BR and Resurgence and do not count casual modes.
Win streak rewards are designed as long-term mastery challenges rather than casual progression.
Weapons, Attachments, and Balance Changes
Two new weapons join Warzone this season.
•Sturmwolf 45 SMG: Low recoil, reliable range, unlockable via events
•Hawker HX Sniper Rifle: Two playstyles including infinite-range one-shot potential with the right barrel
Mid-range barrels across ARs and SMGs were buffed, improving bullet velocity and ADS movement speed. Several weapons received damage tuning to reduce long-range dominance and increase variety in viable loadouts.
Loot, Economy, and Buy Station Updates
UAVs are removed from chest loot and Gas Masks return to Buy Stations at a higher cost with reduced protection. Deadeye Drone is added as a Care Package killstreak, while Counter UAVs receive health buffs and price reductions.
Anti-Cheat and Stability Improvements
RICOCHET Anti-Cheat adds a Secure Attestation Wizard for PC players, helping verify TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot compliance. The update also includes extensive bug fixes across loadouts, UI, challenges, and map exploits.
Season 01 Reloaded pushes Warzone toward faster pacing, higher skill ceilings, and stronger event-driven rewards. With free weapons, Fallout-themed chaos, and major balance changes, this update significantly reshapes the meta going into the rest of the season.
