Shinra May Have Had Two Different Children in Fire Force
One of the biggest things fans still debate after Fire Force is the heavy implication that Shinra Kusakabe may have ended up having two different children, one seemingly tied to Iris and the other possibly connected to Inca Kasugatani.
This theory mainly comes from the epilogue, where two young characters appear and immediately stand out because of how closely they resemble people around Shinra. One child carries design elements strongly associated with Iris, including an iris flower symbol on the hood. The other looks much closer to Inca, with a face, styling, and symbols that many fans instantly linked to her.
That is why a lot of readers believe the story is hinting at multiple children rather than just one. Some translations even use plural wording like “children” or “kids” when Shinra talks about worrying over them graduating, which only strengthens that interpretation.
